What to expect
In this course you will make your first simplified geologic map as a transit.
It contains two modules. You must get through 90% of the first to go to the second. You must also complete 90% of the second module to get your certificate.
There is no quiz at the end of this course but a general understanding of the following concepts will help.
1) Stratigraphy
2) Structural Geology
3) Geologic Time
An understanding of rock identification and petrology is not necessary for this course. But knowing some basic rock types willl help.
