202 - Ternary Plots and Geology 2

In this course I will cover the concept of ternary plot or diagrams. There are two parts. There is a quiz after each that will require that you pass at 60%. There is simple mathematics involved.

In addition to the quizzes, you will have to watch 90% or more of the video to move on.

Ternary plots are the most common plots we use to classify rocks in a petrology lab setting and in the field. Understanding how they function is key to rock identification.

There are also PDF handouts that you will need for the quizzes.
